MARSM is an event producer and at its core, a cultural curator rooted in amplifying the vibrant music and arts culture of the Arabic-speaking world.
MARSM Canada is a newly founded sister company of MARSM UK. Since its founding in 2015 in London, UK, MARSM has established an expansive events network across the UK, Europe and beyond, uniting artists, venues, festivals and cultural organizations.
Through its enriching programme of live concerts, cultural events, exhibitions, and discussions, MARSM aims to challenge the mainstream representation, and exposure of artists from South West Asia and North African (SWANA) and their diasporas. From hosting some of the biggest names to emboldening burgeoning emerging music scenes, MARSM celebrates the diverse music and arts cultures of the region.
From the UK to Canada
In the UK, MARSM has become a trusted reference for the region’s dynamic music scenes, featuring a wide range of styles, history and genres, from electronica, Trap, alternative rock, oud recitals to hip-hop showcases, experimental club nights and everything in between.
Our team in Canada are die hard fans just like you. It was a natural fit to partner up with MARSM UK to expand the showcase of the vibrant and emerging Arabic music and arts, challenging the mainstream (mis)representation of us, the diaspora.

The land on which we are on is the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. We respect and acknowledge the First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples of Turtle Island as the original and present keepers of the Territory upon which we are located and host our events from.
